On Wednesday, April 18, the pre-conference workshop is on global leadership with Dr. Cynthia Scott, consultant and author. The workshop will focus on effective leadership with subsequent career advancement, a crucial topic during these difficult times.
On Thursday, April 19, in addition to other sessions, we present our first-ever Global Summit on Higher Education in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Participants will engage in information exchanges on ways to foster international collaboration and experiential opportunities for education and research in CSD as well as global networking among CSD academic programs and related professional organizations.
On Friday, April 20, our conference plenary session will focus on challenging students followed by a variety of sessions that focus on important CSD academic and clinical issues. Topics range from alternate clinical models to programmatic funding and leadership development. Updates from the Councils on Academic Accreditation and Clinical Certification are scheduled as well.
On Saturday morning, April 21, the annual business meeting is scheduled along with a session on reimbursement for university clinics and the challenges of graduate admissions.
